CP Communications was established in 2001 to drive business success by using the power of PR and marketing.

The business is a member of the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) Registered Consultancy Group, a group which establishes high standards of operation and professional excellence for public relations consultancies.

Catriona Pollard

Catriona Pollard has 15 years experience in developing and managing public relations and marketing programs.

Prior to establishing CP Communications in 2001, Catriona set up the marketing communications department for a leading software company and managed a diverse range of accounts within PR agencies. She also has extensive experience in managing public affairs and marketing in federal and state governments.

She regularly authors articles on PR and marketing which are published in many business publications. Catriona has won an award in the Public Relations Institute Association Awards for Excellence and holds a BA and a Graduate Diploma in Professional Communication.

Catriona is actively involved in many business networks, is a Mentor in the NSW Government’s Women in Business Mentoring Program and a Professional Member of the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA).

Bernadette Marr

After graduating from Macquarie University, Bernadette spent time providing specialist customer relations to companies such as J Bloch Pty Ltd and Unisys. Most recently she was the Account Coordinator within Moet-Hennessy where she managed accounts for both the David Jones and Duty Free clients.

Bernadette joined CP Communications as a PR Consultant and plays a vital role in the day-to-day planning and execution of activity for the technology, marketing and telecommunications clients.

Vanessa Searing

After completing her Bachelor of Commerce/Marketing, Vanessa worked as a Marketing Assistant for Wellington City Council (NZ), where she assisted in a number of marketing communications projects. Upon moving to Australia in 2008, Vanessa joined CP Communications as a PR Consultant, working on human resources and recruitment clients, providing key PR tactics and day-to-day coordination.
